Top Model is a fun, bright magazine aimed at primary school children,  covering fashions of the season, make-up, drawing lessons, and plenty of opportunities to get creative.

The models used throughout the magazine are animated characters, each with their very own look and style. In the current issue (no 11) there is a chance to vote for your favourite model. Each model has a synopsis revealing their birth sign, best friends, motto, hair colour, eye colour and height.

There are feature stories in the magazine where the models are shown in what would be a typical real life situation. In the November issue, young readers can follow Lexy and Miju as they attend a casting call. Its helpful that the magazine isn’t just portraying the glamorous side of modelling.  We learn how Lexy and Miju are kept waiting some time and are feeling rather bored, however manage to use that time constructively to prepare for their call.

As with the majority of magazines that are aimed at a relatively young age group, there are plenty of activities to keep readers amused.

This month’s magazine has instructions on how to create some cute little advent calendars in the shape of gift boxes, and advice on how to draw your own top model.
