BBC Clangers magazine features the adorable little pink creatures that were made famous in the long running tv series that first aired in 1969. At the time they achieved cult status and the thing that stays in my mind is those strange whistling noises they used to make while communicating with each other. Relaunched by the CBeebies channel in 2015, the beloved characters have been brought back to a brand new audience.
This colourful magazine does a great job of transporting readers to the Clangers magical inventive world, complete with the Soup Dragon, the Iron Chicken, groglets and of course Mother, Granny and the rest of the Clangers clan.
stickers and a free gift. The magazine retains the funny, warm adventurous tone of the CBeebies show, allowing readers to join the Clangers as they discover new things about space, communication and the environment.
With colouring in pages and educational activities, the fun, easy to achieve content is based on the Early Years Curriculum. Why not find out more about the delightful creatures who speak only in whistles and eat green soup and blue string pudding by subscribing to the next issue.
