23rd August 2023WORMS (SEVEN) 💗
Been waiting for this one!!
Worms is a print publishing platform showcasing the work of under-represented writers working in underground publishing. Worms Magazine is a literary style magazine that celebrates female and non-binary writer culture whilst Worms Publishing works across form and genre to bring experimental writers to the literary top-soil.
So what’s in issue 7?
“The ‘Artists who Write and Writers who Art’ Issue. For Worms 7 we’ve looked to our visual counterparts for some soil nutrients. We’ve wormed our way into the psyche of the artist, to bring you the ‘Artists That Write, and Writers That Art’ issue. Many of our subjects in the past have come into writing via non-traditional routes (filmmaking, curation, art, performance, podcasting, and so on), so it only felt right to cast a spotlight over those who have inspired our experimental literary practices so far. Not only those that use words within their visual practice, but those who use images to inform their writing. The reader, the writer, the artist, the activist, the poet and performer; they’re all here and they’re all worms.”

KAJET – Issue 05 📕
On Easternfuturism: Imagining Multiple Futures
The main intention of the fifth issue of Kajet Journal is to tentatively sketch a re-conceptualisation of Eastern Europe’s future: to formulate a novel prototype of Easternfuturism, one that is by no means exhaustive but should be read as an invitation for new cultural, artistic, and activist entities to develop their own understandings of the concept.
298 page Bookazine, filled with some incredible imagery, and some really thought provoking articles.
Fräulein – Issue 35: Men
There has been enough said about men by men. What do women have to say about them?
This issue looks at everything from the history of masculinity, how to deal with men, mental health and the metaverse plus everything between. It also showcases some incredible new artists. Including one of my faves David Bailey Ross.
All this and free stickers!! Who doesn’t love stickers 😜
BALCONY – 3 💙
Balcony is a bi-annual collection of conversations with artists situated in the everyday. Each issue contains a selection of dialogues as well as visual stories and original artworks. Sidestepping conventions of both art criticism and the artist profile, balcony presents the artist’s voice as its primary source, blurring the boundaries between the art world and the everyday.
SOLO – Issue 10 ☕️
“SOLO is a project and printed magazine around specialty coffee culture, lifestyle and design that aims to approach the coffee scene from a different point of view. We’re into the stories behind experts and consumers, offer high-quality content by professionals and restless minds, and want to share it all creatively with you to help expand the coffee culture. Not only by distributing and selling the magazine, but also by collaborating with different brands, cafes, roasters, events and whatever may come. ‘Solo’ is how you order an espresso (usually in a small cup and with more water than a ristretto) in Spain.”
